How Do I Prep for My Aesthetic Consultation?
Once you’ve booked in for your Aesthetic Consultation, you might be wondering what’s next? We recommend getting a list together of all of your skincare products, either by taking a picture of them, writing them down, or bringing them in on the day. This will help us to get a better understanding of what you are using at home. Another great tip is to come with no makeup on, on the day of your appointment, however we are more than happy to cleanse away your makeup prior to your skin health scan.
Should I Wear Sunscreen Every Day, Even When Indoors?
The short answer is YES!
Sun Damage is the number one leading cause of ageing. UV rays, whether they are soaked in outdoors or through you loungeroom windows, can cause sun damage which leads to ageing. So even when spending your day indoors we recommend you apply an SPF that is at least a 50+. Check out our Aspect Sun range in our shop for perfect coverage that is designed specifically for your face.
When Can I Start Injectables?
Opposite to popular opinion, age is not the only defining factor for injectable treatments. In fact, anytime you start to see wrinkles, or loss of volume in your skin, this is when you should consider starting injectables. Wrinkle relaxers help to “iron out” creases that can show around your eyes, marionette lines and forehead. Where as facial sculpting helps to return your face to its youthful self, by plumping out and filling lost volume.
